"Mielie" was born back in 1984 and has lovingly been restored into a vintage mobile beverage cart serving the North Carolina Triangle. The cart's name was inspired by our daughter Amelia (nicknamed Mielie), who always shows off her loving and bubbly personality. Vita translates to "life" or "living" in Italian and embodies the perfect celebration that honors family, friendships, and love. Combine the two, and you have our Vita Mielie.

The cart is a fully functional, two-stroke engine, three-wheeled cousin of the popular Vespa scooter. Our vision was to transform the cart into a dashing centerpiece with touches of cream, black, and a hint of Carolina Blue. The scalloped cloth canopy was inspired by European café awnings but fits just as well alongside Southern farmhouses or Piedmont pastures. The taps rest on a chevron-tiled backsplash, accompanied by two mood-setting sconces. With up to four keg options, the taps are connected to a custom chiller that ensures your drink is crisp and refreshing every time.
